ErgoLogicA girth 2.0

 One girth - 10 different sizes!

Our popular ErgoLogicA girth is now available in an updated version! It finally comes with both long and short straps, is more easily adjustable and has a slightly adjusted shape in the front for an even better fit. The carabiner is hidden/protected to reduce the risk of the horse catching its shoes or studs in the carabiner, while at the same time giving the girth a more clean look. The elastic is hidden inside the stud and is protected from dirt and sweat, but can easily be accessed for cleaning and inspecting the status of the elastic. The elastic can also be replaced if necessary. 

ErgoLogicA - With the horses anatomy in mind

Due to its unique design, it hugs the shape of the horse's chest perfectly. No more hanging and flapping at the end of the stud, as can sometimes be seen in regular stud girths.

Ergonomic

The unique construction of the girth allows the horse to move freely with shoulder freedom. By easily adjusting the length you make sure the buckles of the short straps are not interfering with the shoulder movement. We recommend adjusting the length of the girth straps so that the buckles will be as close to the bottom of the saddle flaps as possible.

The elastic of the girth is centrally located on the horses sternum for extra comfort and stability. On the new version of the ErgoLogicA, the elastic is hidden inside the stud and is therefore protected from dirt and sweat. Compared to many other girths on the market with elastic on the sides only, the ErgoLogicA will create a more even pull when the girth is fitted evenly on both sides.

When mounting from the left on a girth with elastic on the sides only, the left elastic will expand because it is closest to the pulling force while the other elastic will basically remain the same, creating an uneven pull and shifting the saddle to the left. With the centrally located elastic, the elastic will expand from the middle, creating a more even pull. The elastic will also allow the chest to expand while breathing and jumping thus increasing the flow of oxygen for maximum performance at all times.The stud ensures excellent pressure distribution and comfort. It has soft padding and is covered with a very supple vegetable tanned leather.

Adjustable

The girth is easily adjustable in length, and the new version comes with both long and short straps. This makes it possible to use the girth for both dressage and jumping saddles. The girth is adjustable in 10 different sizes! With the short straps, it is adjustable in 55, 65, 75 and 85 cm, and with the long straps 105, 115, 125, 135, and 145 cm. This allows for a perfect fit at all times, although your horse has lost or gained weight. If you have several horses, the same girth can be used by simply adjusting the length for each horse.
